Stop Motion Animation Studio

Bring stories to life, one frame at a time! In Stop Motion Animation Studio, students explore the magic of storytelling by creating their own short films using Lego, clay, paper cutouts, or recycled materials. Working solo or collaboratively, they’ll learn the fundamentals of animation—framing, timing, and movement—while adding their own creative flair. A green screen area allows for fun special effects, and iPads are used for filming and editing.

What they’ll do:

• Learn stop-motion techniques and storytelling basics

• Create characters, sets, and props. Add sound effects, music, and dialogue

• Develop skills in visual storytelling, collaboration, sequencing, and tech/media literacy
