Stop Motion Animation Studio

Students will explore the magic of storytelling through stop-motion animation! Using Lego, clay, paper cutouts, and recycled materials, students will learn the basics of animation - framing, timing, movement - and work collaboratively or solo to create short films. We'll set up a green screen area for special effects and use iPads to film and edit.

What they’ll do:

Learn stop-motion techniques and storytelling basics

Create characters, sets, and props. Use green screen effects. Add sound effects, music, and dialogue.

Develop skills in visual storytelling, collaboration, sequencing, and tech/media literacy
