July 13th - July 17th
11:30am - 2:30pm
Ages 10-14
At Joyful Horizons - 20 Church St. Richmond
Bring stories to life, one frame at a time! At Stop Motion Camp, students explore the magic of storytelling by creating their own short films using Lego, clay, paper cutouts, or recycled materials. Working solo or collaboratively, they’ll learn the fundamentals of animation—framing, timing, and movement—while adding their own creative flair. A green screen area allows for fun special effects, and iPads are used for filming and editing.
Students who have experience with stop motion will be able to work on longer form projects and gain new skills.
